COVID-19 Update

Due to recent loosening of government restrictions on essential heathcare providers we have decided to start scheduling in-person (face-to-face) appointments at our office.  Our highest priority remains supporting our patients and staff.  Dr. Koonz and all of our staff will wear masks and strictly follow the Center for Disease Controls (CDCs) guidelines for sanitization and social distancing.  We also strongly encourage patients to wear a mask to their appointment.  Curbside Assistance and hearing aid Drop Off service will still be offered to patients who do not want to come into the office for their appointment.  Please give us a call if you have any questions or concerns with your hearing.  Dr. Koonz and the rest of our staff will be here to help you!

Hearing & Balance Associates of NW Florida

Our goal is to provide you, the patient, with the best clinical services. These typically involve the testing and diagnosis of your condition, with recommendations, if applicable, for steps we can take together to remediate or improve your situation. Recommendations may include a referral to another professional, such as a speech pathologist, physical therapist, vocational counselor, or physician specializing in medical treatment of the ear.

Choosing a hearing care professional is one of the most important decisions a person can make. Since a hearing device cannot be prescribed like eyeglasses, proper hearing device recommendation and fitting is highly dependent on the judgment, experience, and skill of the clinician selecting the instrument. We evaluate your hearing acuity and help you select the devices that are most appropriate acoustically, cosmetically and financially. Fitting the devices is just the beginning, as we plan to continue following your progress and needs every few months for an indefinite period of time.  We are concerned about you, the patient. We make recommendations that fit your lifestyle, personal needs, and budget. Together we can make the world an easier place to live and work.
